The below information relates to the 停车及运输服务 operated by KU体育官网APP, 在博卡拉顿, Ft. Lauderdale, 木星, and HBOI campuses. Please note that on the 戴维 campus, all parking citation fees are issued by and paid to Broward College. They can be paid in person at BC or by mail. For more information, call 954-201-4357 and select option 1.

Any person in violation of any State of Florida traffic law shall be subject to the applicable state fines.  An individual charged with an infraction must either pay the prescribed fee or appeal the citation within 14 calendar days of issuance of the citation.

停车 citations issued by 停车及运输服务 can be appealed if you feel that the citation was issued in error or that there were extenuating circumstances associated with the citation. The appeal for the citation must be submitted within fourteen (14) calendar days of the issue date of the citation. Appeals for citations are submitted online via the 停车 and Transportation website. Appeals are not accepted in person, over the phone, or by email.  Tow fees and Boot fees are not eligible for appeal.

The first appeal is reviewed by the Appeals Committee. The Committee will review the appeal and upon determining the outcome, notify the appellant in writing by email of the decision. 如果引文被支持, the fine must be paid within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date of the Committee’s decision, unless a final appeal is timely filed.

  7. Fill out the form completely and accurately with any and all information you believe necessary for your appeal.

The results of the appeal submitted will be sent to your FAU e-mail. On average, it takes about two weeks to get a response. While your citation is under appeal a hold is placed on the citation. 如果上诉被驳回, you have 14 days from the date of response to either file a second appeal or to pay the citation.

A final appeal of the citation may be made by requesting a hearing before the 停车 违反 Appeal Board. The Board is composed of at least 5 members. The board is composed of faculty members, staff members from the university community, and 学生. The Board must establish a quorum to hear appeals. A quorum shall be defined as a minimum of five (5) members of the 停车 违反 Appeal Board.

The final appeal must be submitted within fourteen (14) calendar days of the decision on the first appeal. The documentation that was reviewed during the first appeal will be forwarded to the Board, 然而, the Board will make an independent determination of the case. The individual will be notified of the date, time, and location of the hearing and may present evidence.  This date and time cannot be rescheduled.

If the individual elects not to attend the hearing, the written appeal will be read aloud for the Board to review. The individual will be notified by email of the decision of the Board. 如果引文被支持, the fine must be paid within fourteen (14) calendar days of the Board’s decision. The 停车 违反 Appeal Board is the final appeal authority; no further appeals are permitted.

Delinquent Accounts/Collection Efforts
